Vineyard located in El Bierzo. Scattered Godello vines located among the Mencia vines and other varieties present in the vineyards of Espanillo, the average age of the vines is 60 years.
Due to the different vineyard areas the soil type is very varied, clay in the lower areas and slate in the higher areas.
After a manual harvest in boxes, the grapes are selected, destemmed and crushed. After a 24h maceration, the grapes are pressed and the must ferments at low temperature in 500 L barrels. After 48 months in barrel, the wine is bottled with a light clarification and filtration. It is marketed after a minimum of 12 months in bottle.
